<title>&#x22;Legitimate&#x22; Mass E-mail</title>

<description>&#x3C;img src=&#x22;http://www.membershipsitebuilding.com/l1/msb/appdata/blog/00000002.jpg&#x22; border=0 align=left style=&#x22;margin-right:5px; margin-bottom:5px;&#x22;&#x3E; &#x3C;p&#x3E;In my desperate attempt to find&#x26;nbsp;a cheaper method of marketing, I came across many, what appeared to be, &#x26;quot;legitimate&#x26;quot; opt in e-mail services.&#x26;nbsp; The numbers look great: 3 million emails for $300!&#x26;nbsp; How can you lose?&#x26;nbsp; Answer: it is easier than you think.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;I am strictly against spam, but not strict opt-in e-mail marketing.&#x26;nbsp; I called this email company that has been in business for 7+ years and talked to the owner about the way they get their lists, how mail is sent, etc.&#x26;nbsp; After I was comfortable, I proceeded with the service.&#x26;nbsp; The mail was sent out over 5 days.&#x26;nbsp; During that 5 days our stats showed many &#x26;quot;hits&#x26;quot;, but here is the amazing part: &#x3C;strong&#x3E;not one signup, not one inquiry, not even one &#x26;quot;get me off your stupid list&#x26;quot; -- nothing!&#x3C;/strong&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;In my 13+ years in Internet marketing, I have yet to come across any legitimate e-mail marketing firm that produces acceptable results.&#x26;nbsp; If there are any out there, I would be very interested to find them.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;BTW - I searched for that company I used and they no longer appear to be online.&#x26;nbsp; I am guessing they change their domain name and &#x26;quot;company name&#x26;quot; every couple of weeks -- part of the scam.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;----------------------------------------------------------------------------------&#x3C;br /&#x3E;&#x3C;em&#x3E;Comments?
