Just as you wouldn't clog up membership applications by asking for too much information (as per one of your articles) why should more than the first minute of time be taken up with chat about whether or not one of you has seen Harry Potter. Please don't waste our (the members) time and yours with useless chatter, get to the point. - Nutmagi

While we appreciate the feedback, we have chosen to have a little fun with our Podcasts instead of making them fact reporting transcripts of the documentation.   Our Podcasts are meant to be entertaining as well as educational. Obviously, we are not very entertaining to everyone, and for that I apologize.  But just as you would not make a movie and get right to the climax (as per Steven Spielberg) we choose to include an introduction.

You can always skip ahead to the content -- we usually chat for about 3-8 minutes in each episode.  Let the Podcast load then move the progress bar ahead a bit -- kind of like fast forwarding through the commercials.

By the way, yesterday I went to the mall to return a gift that was defective.  I didn't have the receipt.  The guy asked me when I bought it -- because if I knew he could look it up and give me store credit.  I was trying to remember but couldn't.  So now I am stuck with a broken gift.

I think the chit chat is fine. It helps to keep the mood light. Keep up the great job guys and thanks for all the great info. Erik S.
